without school?

The global education crisis is overwhelming.

Right now, 33 million children in Sub-Saharan Africa don’t attend school. That number is so high it almost doesn’t feel real. We helped Building Tomorrow make the issue relatable with Uneducate Yourself: a microsite to help you envision your own life without school.

Using Facebook profiles, Uneducate Yourself shows users how their lives would be different if they’d grown up without education. Then the site encourages them to donate to the cause and spread the word with a shareable infographic. By making the crisis personal, we made it harder to ignore—and harder not to act.
